Copper’s history is hinted at in its name. During the 1970s, the venue was a factory producing copper wiring for the people of Beijing. We happened upon the site while wandering the hutongs and fell in love with it. With the help of our architect, Phil Dunn of NAO Design, we updated the natural features of the spacious venue to create a sleek, contemporary event and cultural space.
